Found amongst the etcetera of my grandparents and parents stored junk. Yellow cracked ice kutmaster utica and a W.A. Anderson &co germany

The german commerative knife seems very well made with fine engraving, in what I would guess, aluminum scales.

Make sure to take precautions with the celluloid so it doesn't affect you other knives as it breaks down. Although I have the same knife and other than wear marks and color fade it hasn't cracked, shrunk or started out gassing. Some colors and styles were more stable than others.
 
I have the notion that aluminum was a new wonder material around WWII. I guess I'm wrong, if your 1910 is aluminum. Which is not unlikely. Par for the course, really.
