Couple knockout questions

So I got my knockout today and I was wondering two things. Can I deassist it and what holds the subframe lock onto the frame? I want some custom scales made, and if I can use the existing lock mechanism I would want to. Thanks!
 
The Knockout does not have a detent, so you can't de-assist it. I believe the lockbar is held in place by two screws.

Thanks! Does it have a detent ball but no hole, or the other way around? I want some orange and black tiger G10 scales made for it if anyone can do it with speedsafe or give it a good detent.
 
I figured I would post in this thread rather than make a new one. I have a hole for a detent ball in my framelock, but no ball. Anyone know what size ball fits in?
