I got with Chuck awhile back and told him what I wanted. This is what came back, and it's just what I wanted. The Mr. Mofo sheath has a recessed pocket that the blade hook sits in instead of a open back and exposed hook as I have seen many before. Also the sheath throat is perfect for the angle of the grip plates. The small MNR dangler sheath is perfect for the wife to carry. Enjoy the pics cause I'am enjoying having them.

WELL DONE Chuck, thanks again Bro:thumbup::D!!!

Chuck has done amazing work for me on all the sheaths he has made me. I look forward to the next batch that is in the works right now. Excellent looking sheaths you have there. Top notch quality.

Great looking sheaths, he really does some nice work. Someday i need to have one made for a knife or two i have.

Russ,

I see he gave some relief to the back side of the handle by using an extra piece of leather between the knife and the piece which forms the belt loop--nice job with that. Also notice the pin head holding the keeper strap on the back is slotted. Does that mean the strap is easily removable and re-installable? Very nice features--thanks for sharing. Were those your design points?

Hey Will,

No not mine, but Chucks:cool:. That seems to be SOP with him when a strap retention is used. Regarding the stand off between sheath body and belt loop that is also SOP:cool:. My idea was the total recess of the blade hook and then he took the ball and ran with it. I like how Chuck does the stand off on body and loop. This allows for another stop ledge if you will for your hilt to rest on:thumbup:.

Thanks,
Russ

ps I will say that each of the leather benders out there have there on touch to there craft and I enjoy all the work from all of them. I've had Rowe, Leatherman, Rainwalker, Mikeymoto and Chuddy Bear and like them all. Keep in mind this is just the leather. I need to post some of the kydex I've gotten of late as well.

I love Chucks work, never disapointd and always blown away by the quality of the product. Great looking pair there.
