I had ordered a new Red and Black Handled Carbon clipper and a new 680. Both came very sharp as the Mora's usually do. I have the Mora 2000 as well. Has anyone tried the Tri-Flex?

I've got a couple #780 Triflex Craftsman models, and like all Moras, they're great.

They do look really nice. I don't have any Mora's...I am going to have to remedy that problem very soon. Anyone had any experience with the "Morakniv" with the Red Birchwood handles? I have my eye on those, especially the one with the "half guard" on it.

I love my Tri-Flex Moras. They are a bit thicker and it may be my imagination but they have come sharper than my other Moras.

have never tried that but read that its hardened differentially. whats the benefit of that on a short knife like a mora?

I would guess that the main advantage is a better edge holding ability as they are harder than the Carbon models. I have read that you don't dare pry with them as they dont have the flex required for that. For that reason, its name is a bit confusing to me.

I have knives that cost twenty times what the Mora cost but for duties required of a 4 inch blade, the Mora will do the job every bit as well.
