Couple New Ones

Here are a couple knives I finished up this week. Both knives are forged from 1/2" w1 drill rod and have pretty wild temper lines. Guards and pins are 416 ss. Both handles are claro walnut (as always :)). I'm finding photographing the temper lines and bringing them out equally difficult :). I'll post a couple photos of each...

The first is a bird and trout with a 3 1/4" blade, a little over 7" OAL.

NICE work !

I just discovered that if you prop the knife so it is standing sideways, the hamon turns out MUCH better in photos. (Instead of the usual practise of placing the knife on its side and taking the photo from above.)Jason.
