I lucked out and stumbled on another red stag #72 lockback (the one with the long parallel grooves). Greg at TSA put three nice ones up right out of the blue (they were originally released in early July '10), and I swear they were all gone within the first thirty minutes - I think I grabbed the nicest of the three :D. The scales are so well-matched that they'd be hard to tell apart without the shield.

The handle on this one is a little chunkier than my first one, but the girth is still reasonably svelte.

I've been kickin' around the idea of getting a #72. That pretty much pushes me over the edge. :D
 
Fantastic photos! I'm waiting for an ebony 72 to arrive from Greg any day now.

joe bob located the red for me & certainly treated me great. the regular is for contrast.

Man, those look great. I bought a #72 as a Christmas gift for a buddy and couldn't have been more impressed with the pattern.
