Couple of Beauties Arrived Today: GEC Stag and a Schrade 882Y

My first ever stag scales arrived today in this sweet little GEC Northfield songle blade Scout #73. The #73 is my favorite pattern so far from Great Eastern, so I know I'm going to love putting in some time with this new stag beauty.

Here's the Schrade Walden 882Y that also showed up in today's mail. What a sweet stockman! Another first for me, having never owned any sort of Schrade and I'm very impressed with it so far. Looking forward to having this yellow fellow in-pocket, too. There were a few more pics of the 882Y, but they didn't look so good, so here's the cream of the crop.

Nice pair of knives! It's hard to beat a GEC in stag, but there's just something about a yeller shadow stockman that really appeals to me. The more I see them posted here, the more I want one.

Awesome pair. They really sunk that shield into that stag. Different from what I am used to and very nice :)
 
Nice couple of knives. I especially like the stockman but I'm a sucker for 'em, what can I say? :thumbup:
 
Nice double, and about as different as two pocket knives can be. But what are ya goin' after for the hat trick? :D
 
I like them both but that stockman is very nice. I have been wanting one of those for a while. Nice buys. :thumbup:
