and I must say Arbiter that was impressive sharked :) I dont no how many seconds I used to send the mail but it was under a minute. Congratulations! I think it looks fantastic, I have one at the same size , I was in awe when I received it in the mail..... It's stunning.. ( though I must admit yours looks even better :)

Thanks Nils.I don't have a YCS so with the DOTD, I couldn't resist such a beautiful blade. And congrats to you on a number of excellent grabs I have seen you make recently.Grace and peace to all.

And congrat on you too, Arbiter for that very nice looking blade. If that was with a black Sheath, I would have been all over it but that red one I've had bad experiences with recently.

Now somehow I need to ignore this section of bladeforums and manage to save money in the process.

I'll figure this part out...some day.

hehe good luck with that Oldewolf I'm doing a really bad job at it. I agree on the Koa wood Dirtbiker From what I'v seen on the pictures it is my favorite looking handle material.

I'm also a little confused about what's "wrong" with my coming CAK. What does she mean exactly by "grainmark"? Don't all handles from HI have natural "grainmarks" which is pretty much always a given? Can someone elaborate for me please since I have to wait till Monday to find out? :p

I'd guess it's a grainmark you can actually feel. I have a few like that.

Look at this handle, it has actual rough spots and texture. I sanded them smooth with some 1500 grit.

You mean that 3-4 sploshes on that handle? I thought those were Chinese writing at first! :p
