Well, gotten a little carried away with the spending this month with the ganzaa and setting $$$ aside for the SMOGs. Plus I have a project that I need funds to finish so a couple of my INFIs need to go.

Up first is a BIBB for $400
SOLD. Thanks madfast. This knife is about 98% new. With the recent move I had one too many boxes laying around and couldn't resist. Took a slices. There are 2 very faint marks from this on ONE side of the blade. Other side shows no marks at all. You can just barely make it out in one of the photos but it can really only be seen if held under the light just right. Other than that, it is MINT. Here's Boss Hogs original description...

This sterile, straight edged bolo influenced mil. overrun features a .200" thick. . . 7 3/4"" blade. . . where the requested blade was " . . to have a straight edge with the weight distribution favoring the front quadrant of the blade". . . .It has a very unusual Special Desert Olive finish.

We have less than 50 of these and no more will be produced.

Second is a PBS for $225$215$200$190SOLD Thanks colby1979. This was going to be my EDC but never got around to getting a sheath made for it. Then I got a GW so the PBS is now just a back up. It was lightly used around the house during my move so it shows some slight marks/smoothing from opening a couple boxes. Also, there is a very, very slight misgrind on the tip of the blade. This is how it came from BCS and is tiny, but thought I should mention it. I took a pic to show you. Just in time for hunting season.

Here's a new addition, a HR user $350 SOLD Thanks westllen. The HR has an OD blade with black linen MAGS. This one has seen some use but, other than coating wear, is still in great shape. There is some smoothing the full length of the edge. The coating is wearing off on the sweet spot and a spot at the tip. The blade still has a plenty of life left though. Only ever sharpened once. Also INCLUDED is a like new, OD green Spec Ops large Survival sheath. The sheath is in mint condition. Was only belt warn once. I always keep it in my pack when I go out and just wear my GW on my belt. If you're looking for a HR to use, here's you chance to get a great price on great blade. New HR's are running $400 and that's NOT including a Spec Ops sheath.

Prices include Priority Shipping within the US. I'll accept MO's and Paypal plus 3%. First "I'll take it" in this thread gets it.

I've had a few enticing trade offers, but unfortunately at this time I'm not really interested in any trades. I have a katana that I want to get remounted which is going to get costly so I need the $$$. The only trades I would consider would be for a large piece of INFI. I would like something that is a little bit more of a chopper than my HR, say some sort of Steel Heart or Heavy Heart. Users are fine. If by chance any of you have any antique fuchi, kashira, menuki, or tsubas I would consider those as well. Depending on what you have in either of this instances, I can add $$$ to even out the trade.

Just wanted to clarify a couple things. I had a forumite ask me why when I want cash to finish a project, would I be willing to pay cash to get an FSH or similar Busse. Basically I'm looking to replace my HR with something a little larger. If this happens than I will be selling my HR towards the project. As for the $400 asking price on the BIBB, I'm just trying to get back what I have into the knife which was about $390 after shipping. Also, I know another forum member sold one a couple times over at $400 not too long ago. If you think this price is a little unreasonable, feel free to shoot me a pm or email with your offer.

Maybe I should just start looking for a second job :o

I don't think you owe anyone any explanations. It's your deal. You set the conditions of sale; potential buyers are free to make offers, which you can either accept or reject, but I do not see why should feel you need to explain anything beyond that.

Good luck with your projects.

Hi resinguy. It's not that I feel like I owe anybody any sort of explanation for anything, just that I prefer to be up front with people, within reason, when they have questions. I want people to be comfortable with any transaction they may have with me and if it means answering some questions on why I'm doing such and such, than it's no problem as far as I'm concerned.

jay,
if i had not just scored in the ganza i would have been all over your bibb as soon as you posted it a couple days back. great price, especially given how hard they are to find!

Thanks Ryan. I'm really going to hate seeing this one go. It's such a well balanced knife and feels so light in hand. Part of me thought of turning this one into my user instead of my HR, but I couldn't bring myself to do it from a collectors standpoint due to it's rarity. I know Border Shift has one up in the Trade forum http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=424320 . Maybe you can work something out with him if you really want one.
