..first, do you prefer the #18 medium stockman "round bolsters" for a user or the #32 "square bolsters. I have two #18 and I had one as a boy. Great pocket knife. Here lately tho I have been looking at the #32 alot online. I have a texas jack which I believe is the same frame as the #32 and like it alot.
My second question is how many of you like the russlock as a user? I have a yellow handled one in cv and have been carrying it some. I like it for the most part and sometimes being able to open it one handed is useful. The russlock is as close to modern or tactical as I can get. It makes a good combo with a stockman or trapper or some other more traditional pocket knife. Anybody have any thoughts... :)

I like them both, and own both, but of the two I prefer the #32 frame, I have 2 Stockman one a 1970's #32 and a new #63032 in my EDC rotation.

I don't really dislike them, but they are not for me, I bought one and never really got used to it, so I gave it to someone else. I'm not knocking that pattern, it's just not my cup of tea.

I can't get used to the feel of the Russlock's lock. It's a linerlock, sure, but the fact that it's basically the same as the old Catt lock and sticks up is bad.
