Here are a couple of cutters I have been working on. The top skinner is 3/16 D2 with an AOL of 8 3/8 inches. The hardware is 416 stainless and the scales are Stabilized Redwood Burl I got from Larry (Shaughnessy) here on the forum.
The bottom is a Bird & Trout in 5/32 D2, it has an AOL of 8 5/8 and is sporting some of Larry's Stabilized Black Ash Burl. I really like this wood, it lacks any distictive features when your working it but comes to life during the final finish sandings.
The picture is not great but I wanted to show this burl, Larry's Stabilized wood is very nice and he is a great guy to deal with.
