I figured I needed to take something to the show, so I worked on these two when I had the time -

The first one started off as a piece of scrap that I decided to make into a liner-lock. I made a "dao-style" blade and then built the handle around it. Kinda backwards, but it was fun/frustrating at the same time. I has a 3/16-inch thick blade of 1080 with textured Ti liners with black G-10 overlaying them. I don't have the specifics as it is already packed up. :banghead

The second blade is saber-ground out of 3/16 1080 with .125 Ti surrounding it. This one is a handful and it already bit me three times. It is safely packed away too. :D

Anyway -- thanks for checking them out (sorry for some of the "greasy" spots in the pics). :)

I got a chance to play with the small tanto that Danbo had snagged from you. I was very impressed. A definite cutting machine there...Great work!!:)

Thanks -- I didn't even know you were there. I missed so many people at Blade this year.

Dont tell them it was scrap ye, dam fool!

That scrap one will do for one of the nicest looking EDCs I have seen. It's small, cool and usefull for the everyday use.

You should consider making it a permanent model in your line.

FYI, I am more than happy with the Dao shaped blade folder.

Thanks all -- :)

Danbo -- glad you're getting good use out of the little blade.

It was at the top of the scrap pile though. :D
