Just picked up these two, the orange is Mike Vagnino's ZipSlip MS-SP, the darker one is Steve Karroll's EDMW liner lock version.

How are you liking them? I love the design and blade shape of the Karroll. Wharncliffe has always been my favorite blade shape and I've realized when you add a tiny bit of belly it really makes it a bit more versatile. The CPM-154 used is an excellent steel. I think a Frame Lock would be killer.

How is the Zip Slip? I've always had my eye on them. I like that they're one hand opening and have a clip, really adds things to a slip joint that I enjoy. Is the choil nice? How's it feel in hand?

Congrats on two beauties.

Steve Karroll does offer the same knife in a frame lock version, and a beefy frame lock version. This one is .175" thick so it's beefy enough for me. I can't get the finish to show up better with my camera,it's bead blasted and tumbled but looks like a dark acid wash finish, I like it alot.

The ZipSlip is the lightest knife I own, and with the deep carry clip it just disappears in the pocket. It also has a pretty stout blade for it's size, which I like. The choil has been nice, but I do hold this one differently than my other knives, as I'm only using it to open packages and what not.

Very nice. Majigy how did you get ahold of Steve? If you don't mind shooting me a PM with his info.

Nice pair, congrats!

That Steve Karroll knife is news to me. I'll have to do some googling on it, because I like beefy folders and that blade shape just the way I like it.
