Here is my latest slip joints. I am going to take to Central Texas Knife Show in Austin this Saturday. I was hoping to have enough knives to get a table for the whole weekend but, I didn't. So I'll just go and visit some friends and play show and tell.

Both have ATS 34 Blades and springs. Handrubbed finish on blade. Stainless steel liners, bolsters and shields.

Single blade Slim serpentine Trapper with Green Jigged Bone handles. 4 1/8 inches closed.

Splitback whittler with amber jigged bone handle. 3 1/2 inches closed with Wharncliff main blade, cutoff pen blade, and Spear point blade.

OH TONY!!!

The split backspring whittler is my favorite of all the classics. I LOVE to see custom versions of them  I can appreciate making the tapered spacer, pinning and the fitting required to have both springs contacting the main blade!!!!

VERY NICE!!!

Neil

PS, can you show a top view of it????? :D

Those both look beautiful Tony.
Love the whitter especially :)

Thanks guys. As per the request from Neil a picture of the top and bottom, since I'm not sure which is which. ;)

And yes Shayetet13 they are for sale but to keep me out of trouble and to comply with the forum rules... please see the available page on my web site. When I get time I will post them on the maker for sale page too.

Once again thanks for the nice words.

Regards

YESEREE!! That's why I love them the most!

Well done Tony, I'm not at all suprised of it's status on your website ;)

Yup that little guy is going to enjoy it's new home :D

I guess my biggest temptation in knives in a Wharncliff split-backspring whittler so I had to jump on this one.

It is pretty hard to do justice to Tony's whittler with a pic. It is much nicer than either picture in this thread. For a guy who has not been at it very long, everything about the knife impresses me. I look forward to meeting him in person one day. Maybe then I can talk him into making a doctor's pattern (are you listening nifrand):)

Thanks Tony it was a pleasure talking with you.
