  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

1) Are the Hinderer customs made for Blade this year, still done in 20cv steel?

2) Did anyone post pics of the lottery knives? It'll be great to see what was available. :)

#1 Rob can confirm that for you, but it has been if the steel is unmarked it is 20cv.

#2 look in the Blade thread on here. There is a few pics of the lottery knives

All of the customs were S35VN. There should be some pics floating around, I think I had posted some progress threads.

Every unmarked custom prior to the laser in 2012 were 20CV, every custom blade since we got the laser has been S35VN. So if it has a laser mark, it is S35VN, no laser mark it's 20CV.

I saw some pics of Bowies and 3" Wharncliffes in a Blade thread here, but didn't get to see the other grinds/finishes.

Great, thanks for clearing up the steel info!

Are 3" customs changed to S35VN as well?
I know the production ones are 20cv even with the laser.
