just a couple of rough sketch / designs before I start cutting some steel.

Hey good work on the drawings, I've done a bit of sketching on ms paint for a handle I'm making. You have some pretty decent skills using ms paint to its limits. Just a small question, why do your blades thin out so much where they meet the handle? It looks kind of cool, but is there a strength issue?

Anyways, can't wait to see the finished product. I like the one with the slightly skeleton blade just about RS 07.

I really like the 2nd from the bottom - I see influences of David Winch & Alan Elishewitz, but with its own flavor. Wicked! Can't wait to see the picture realized in steel.

Thanks for the comments, unfortunately I dont have the skills to make folders like these, I just like drawing knife designs and different blade patterns. I am making a fixed blade knife that is similiar to the last knife, although I've already run into some handle material issues.

I think I'll just stick to amateur designs.

heres another one I just finished.

When you are just starting out it is much better to stick with simple small fixed blades. Wharncliffes are exellent because the edge is real easy to make.
There are several advantages to using a wharncliffe as well.

Hey it's all cool, I love sketching pics of knives and other gadgets, fun stuff.

I'm currently making a knife with a 6 inch mora high carbon blade. I think with any hobby it's better to grow into it then to try to do everything at once. Have you made and tactical style fixed knives?
