E-mail sent on m-43 by Tirtha

*edit* Woohoo! Got the confirmation e-mail. Now I just need to figure out how to explain to the wife that my GRS needed a friend...

Gahhhhh, the M-43 and WW2 are really calling me.....alas, the bank account for fun is not. Really nice looking.

That is the quintessential WWII right there:) Some lucky shark is going to be very, very happy with his/her new woods bumming buddy.

Tirtha is a busy, busy man. Killer work on both, but an 18" 21oz WWII is fan-flipping-tastic. Great Snag!

That 18" WWII is as light as my 16.5" WWII. Looks like it has some nice fullers on it. Well at least the right side does. ;)

I always thought that at 30oz or so my 18" WW II was way too heavy and too front-heavy to be used as a weapon, but would make a great chopper. Well, at 21oz. today's WW II would make for a perfect go-to-war/self-defense/hiking knife with still a lot of chopping power. I do hope that we get to see a general trend towards offering lighter kuks like that along with the thick-spined choppers. I think that a thin-spined Chitlangi, YCS, or Dui Chirra would sell very well.

Ack! M43! .. If I wasn't waiting on another to arrive I might have not been able to control the impulse. It's purty. If it was a bone handle I would have been owned. whew.

We should copy this pic over to my M43 pic thread - that one is pretty good looking! is it just me, or does Tirtha really seems to be "stepping up" lately?

That WWII looks great. I hope a light 15" comes along one of these days.

I'm not sure he's done any stepping, I think he's brought his A game from the beginning. I really hope he sticks around, he looks to be the #1 contender to be Bura's successor, IMO.

Well, what I meant was that it seems like everything he brings out is better than the last one. At any rate, top notch work!
