Top one is a piece of 320 layer twist(O1/L6) from Kevin Cashen. Bottom knife is my last piece of the Bertie Reitveld "Dragonskin" damascus, which is essentially little nickel plated 52100 ball bearings, smashed into a bar. Cool stuff; expensive as all heck to buy, but fun to work with. Just gotta find a way to put my name on them and sharpen them up. Yes, that's some choice stabilized Curly Koa they're sitting on; and no, I'm not slapping any of it on these! :)

Why not? I bet it would look great!

Nice stuff, I love that dragonskin damascus! (hmmm... nickel plated ball bearings? I never knew. We learn something new every day!)

Kind regards,

Jos

Looks real nice, Dan. Your handle shapes and grinds are improving greatly!

Very good looking knives..well done, and usefull.

These look great Danbo. You did a nice job bringing out the pattern in the damascus too

The etch looks good and so does your grinds, something to be proud of for sure! I like the twist better, but thats just me.
