here's a couple patch or blacksmith knives as ive heard them called. I made the knives, and John Cohea did the sheath work. And I think once again he did a fantastic job and helped turn these two simple knives into a fantastic set. John can comment if i am wrong, but I believe there deer hide over veggie tanned leather. He incorporated some copper accents to go with the copper accents i had on the knives.

I particularly like the work he did on the lower one. which btw has the same etched finish as the top, but i got to much camera glare in the pic:o .The sheath is designed with a rare earth magnet in it, and is worn hanging upside down as a neck sheath, or the hand made lanyard can be removed, and it has the option of being worn horizontally on the belt.

there are some great details that my humble photography didnt really show well, including the hand made copper lanyard loop, and the copper belt loops which are wrapped in rawhide as well.

I know these are know award winning art knives, but i think there a great little combo for certain tastes.

thanks again john

Thanks Andrew. It was my pleasure to kick these up a notch, but they did'nt need much,as they are very nice little knives all by themselves!

Love it! Never would of in a million years thought to make a patch knife like that. One of a kind! Great job, and cohea's work is always great. Rawhide is always nice!
