1. What steel(s) is/are used on Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard knives? Any comparison to INFI?

2. What/Who is Team Gemini?

3. I have seen the phrase "double cut" in some of the for sale ads...what exactly does this mean?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I can answer 2 and 3:
2. Team Gemini is a knife from Busse.
3. Double cut is a blade finish Busse uses. It's a bead blast with two differently sized beads, I believe.

I don't have a specific answer for 1, but their steels aren't too far behind INFI.

swamprat and scrapyard use SR101 which is basically a modified 52100 ball bearing steel with a badass heat treat, or SR77 which is S7 tool steel, the stuff used in jackhammer bits. SR101 has slightly better wear resistance and less toughness than INFI, and SR77 is slightly tougher but less wear resistance than INFI

team gemini's are a double guarded knife made by Busse, INFI steel

double cut is a media blasted finish with 2 different medias, looks like matte colored metal.
