Couple questions on new acquisitions

I recently got a Crucarta PM2 and the new Military 2. The larger military is pretty nice but the detent seems the weakest of any of my Spydercos, maybe it’s longer blade. Is it possible to adjust the spring or mod it so it has more of a “sure click” when opening the knife?

The second issue was the micarta color, they called it brown but it’s closer to white. What are the best dyes or techniques if I want to darken the scales?

Mineral oil should make the natural canvas micarta more of a brown.

Check the detent hole on the military for obstruction.

The micarta will darken with handling from the oils in your hands. You can dye the micarta with rit dye if you want a desired color.

I might try that, wasn’t sure if it would dry or rub off though
