couple questions

hi folks
i have a couple questions i was hoping someone could help me with.

first is about sanding peel ply cf smooth. I found a couple old threads, but no step by step. i was wondering if someone has done this with any success? any tips or tricks would be appreciated. or if anyone has experience with this, maybe they could do mine for a fee.

second is about the new natural g10 scales on the new m4 pm2. because of the natural color, would these be the ideal scales to rit dye? seems like they would be the best choice for taking a light color.

i know this could be in tinkering, but both questions concern spyderco scales. Mods can move it if they choose.

thanks in advance

I'm very interested in dyeing the natural scales. I'd like to have an orange set. But I'm not sure how they'll turn out.

You can by natural G10 blank scales pretty cheap if someone would like to experiment first. I'm thinking about going this route. I'm not sure how orange would turn out. I think translucent orange would be cool.

I'm going to try it for sure. I was thinking orange myself. I'm going to order a set of micarta scales so I'll have these to play around with. I'll get to it eventually and let you know how it turns out.

Where would you order the micarta scales from, i love micarta.
