Hello people,

Can anyone tell me the length on the Monster Nessie? Also, does anyone have experience using it to chop? Is it more of a "fine work" knife, or can it be used to clear a path, etc? I assume that the .25" of CMP 3V will be a pretty tough knife, but I'm wondering if I could go with this instead of a Busse SFNO or FSH.

Oh, and does Dan actually MAKE Khuks?

Ya know...the WSK just looks a little to wild for me. I don't even understand the uses for all that other stuff on there.

Yes, the Monster is 13.75" long overall and about 2.5-2.75" tall....I can barely cut it out of a piece of 3" wide steel. :D


I'm not sure "fine work" is a good job for it...:D



It is a serious cleaver/camp knife and a BRUTE.


I've started several kukris...have finished none.

But I do have a design "in the works" (aka backburner).

Guess that illuminates my noobishness, but whatever...everyone's a noob sometime, right? :thumbup:

I like your designs. Hopefully I'll own one or two sooner than later.
