Couple ?'s on 0300's

I am looking to buy a 0300 series knife. why do some sources list the 0300 as a 3.75" blade and some list as a 4.25" blade?

I would go with the first link as it is from the official Kershaw site.

It also depends where you start the measurement from which could account for the half inch difference.

totally. when opened its obvious the cutting surface isn't 4inches+ but if you account for the entire piece that comprises the blade it is easily 4.25"

Thanks guys, What do you think between the 0300 and a Strider RCC? Will be used for camping/hunting when I dont want to carry a fixed blade around.

I think you will do just fine with an 0300 or anything from the ZT line.
Built for hard use.
