I just got an e-mail from Krause about the pre-order for Knives 2010 and lo and behold, it appears that fellow forumite Mace Vitale has a knife on the front cover this year!

AWESOME.... congrats to Mace!!!!

*see Mace, I told you those kneepads would pay off!*

Seriously though, that is just fantastic, and I'm very happy for my friend Mace Vitale!!!  :D

Excellent news indeed. Mace must have known this, as they ask the makers to ship them the knives when they choose the selections.

Let's look:

Good company: Stan Fujisaka/CJ Cai, Owen Wood/Amayak Stepanyan, and Steve Jernigan. Talk about some highly-regarded vets!

Looking forward to this! ;)

Thanks fellas!:D
I am VERY honored they chose one of my knives for the cover.

Coop, I admit I knew it was comming, but with the way things have been around here the last couple of months and the new "500 knives" comming out it kinda slipped my mind and I was pleasantly surprised by Joes threads.

Now a plug for "Sharp by Coop"!:D
Jim always says "pro photos don't cost...they PAY!!!"
Jim doesnt just take a pic of your knife...he also sends it out to the publications(something that hardly ever happens when I take a pic).
If Jim didnt send the pic he took of my knife it would never have been considered for the cover shot.
Thanks Jim! You the man!

I'm stoked!:D
Thanks again fellas.
Mace

Most importantly, in order to get a 'Cover Girl' reserve, you need to be a superstar.

Here's what attracted Joe Kertzman in the first place:

Any questions? ;)

That knife looks terrible. You'd better send it to me, so you never have to see it again :)
