I received a phone call this morning from a reporter from the St.Louis post wanting info about my nephew. sgt.Ronald Buxton. It really scared my wife and I, because the last we heard Ron was stationed in Baghdad. Well we asked why the info and the reporter told us that Ron and 2 other military personel were to be on the cover of Time Magazine coming out this month. I think tomorrow. We don't know what caused them to pick Ron and these others for the cover but we are very proud of them and all our military folks stationed all over the world. We can't wait to get a copy so we can read the rest of the story. God Bless all our troops and Merry Christmas to them where ever they may be.

I just wanted to share this, this is a very proud moment for our family and it represents the pride we have for all our military personal.

Bill, I believe it is the person of the year thing. I've been hearing all day, on the news, about how it was awarded to the American soldier.

That is SUPER Bill. You must be busting and I sure share part of that feeling with you. Let all us remember to keep this War close at heart and remember why we are doing so well with it come next elections.

Thanks everyone, it is a fabulous thing what all these people are doing for us here at home. They are sacificing a great deal, and some their lives so we can live in freedom. I salute each and every one of them for their bravery and courage. God Bless them all and keep them safe.

Pretty special moment, Bill. You know how I feel about the military and the critical job they do.

God protect all our fighting forces, and may we all say a prayer for their safe return each and every day.....

Kudos to the young man for being chosen to represent the armed forces. Like I said, pretty special moment for the whole Buxton family.....

I'm thrilled to see this! Since I was recently in that situation, I find now that I often think about those soilders, sailors, airmen and marines who are not with their families during this time of year. There sacrifices are what enable the rest of us to live our daily lives in the manner that we do..........we owe all the US forces our admiration and respect, and it's about darn time that it was nationally recognized! God Bless our Troops. This is one man, and family, who will keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

A very proud moment indeed. I just saw that this morning on the Today show and was glad of their choice for "Person of the Year."
 
Happy for you and your nephew, Bill. You have every reason to be proud of him. Merry Christmas! :)
