Hi fellas,
I just thought I'd post a photo of a knife John White is working on for me. I like this particular style knife and can't wait until its finished....the anticipation is killing me. Its going to have John's awesome file work.

YEEEEHAAAWWWW!
Awesome:)
I could tell it was Mr. White's handiwork due to the fabric background. Think I done seen it before!

Looks like a winner already, can't wait to see the finished pics...

You don't need the fabric as his work screams "John White". ;) :)

You got a nice one there Bob. The excellent stag, damascus pattern, ball tip guard, all will work together for a great presentation.

Oooooh that is going to be niiiiice! Love the damascus pattern - looks like barbed wire.

WOW...all the components add up to what will be a spectacular knife.

I can see why you would be excited to see the it completed.

Bob,

Thanks for posting up here. It's almost finished, doing the file-work on the Sterling Silver spacers today. Although this is not a WIP, I wanted to show where that center Damascus frame wrap came from...

notice it's twisted both directions from the center "butt".

OK, back to the shop. Bob...

Thanks for the kind comments fellas. I've been looking for this style knife for awhile with no luck. I think she needs a Paul Long sheath.

Chuck, sorry I won't be going to Blade this year. I need to go visit the family (Ohio) during my time off between classes.

Thanks for the pictures. This is going to be a fabulous piece. I also enjoy the assembly pictures to see how it is all put together.

I enjoy the mechanics of how everything is put together as much as completed knife. In my opinion, the mechanics of assembly are often as much an art as the finished product.

Very nice package. I especially like the damascus, barbed wire indeed, and the guard is excellent as well. That guard is a lesson in proportions and execution:thumbup::cool:
