As always, nice knife. I love your designs- you are a very creative guy. Questions: How did you bring out the temper line? You mention bleach and salt. Is that what gave the blade finish the "stipling effect"? The finish texture is very nice.

Kumdo, I used heat block on the blade while I heated the edge with a torch. I thought it would help isolate the temper line. I did etch it a couple of times, I think doing that and using the salt/bleach help give it the texture. I polished it with a brown paper bag!!! pretty funny!! I need to do a couple other blades varying the effect to come up with a complete recipe.

I finished up the sheath.
It's leather covered with deer rawhide and also has buck skin fringe.
