  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Excluding Hatori and Fàllkniven, what custom makers and/or manufacturers are creating knives using Cowry X damascus blades?

Excluding Hatori, Fàllkniven and Russell, what custom makers and/or manufacturers have created knives using Cowry X damascus blades in the past?

I think one of the AG Russell One-hand models was made with a Cowry X Damascus blade. If I am thinking of the right knife, they are long discontinued and pretty rare.

You are correct, though I did mention that Russell did offer them, that was long ago. I own two K87-CWs. One is N.I.B.; one I carried for 15 years. Both have mammoth ivory scales, although I had walnut scales substituted for ivory because I suspect ivory is delicate for continuous use. So I put the ivory with its screw fasteners in storage.

So the use of Cowry X damascus remains scarce as hen's teeth?
