Coyote Brown Scale?

Was just browsing a dealer's website, and I noticed that they have coyote brown scales for a 3.5" XM-18 listed. It looks kind of like the color of peanut butter. Has anyone ever heard of these before?

Hmm...interesting. I'm always up for a new scale choice (if it is indeed a new scale rather than a light trick)! Although, I'm having a hard time trying to pair it up to another scale if it has to do with the lighting. Looks kind of like a dark baby poo. Ha!

I like, got one coming. Wanted something to add on to order of superblue Spyderco Manbug. GP is a top notch shop (pretty sure they are BF contributing vendor). They helped me out of a lousy Canada Customs situation a few years ago.

I've never seen a FDE scale in person so I'm not sure either way. Just looked lighter than I would have thought when it arrived.
