The 12 inch AK has been getting a lot of attention lately so here's one for you. 12 inches and 12 ounces. Penny's worth of rust at tip, either grain line in handle or a very small repair -- can't tell which. Delivered to your door for 1/2 price -- $50

116.5 inch 27 ounce. Bura made the knife and the village sarki made scabbard and frog. That tells the whole story. 1/2 = $72.50 delivered to your door.

20 inch 29 ounce Sirupati by Kumar. Perfect execution as far as I can tell. Very nice scrollwork and inlay. 10/10 rig. $62.50 delivered.

Quick as a cat 20 inch 19 ounce Kobra. Bura made it and village sarki made scabbard & frog. What more to say? Yours delivered for $62.50.

Call or email in next 3 hours and we'll ship today.

I could use a 116.5" chiruwa AK

9.7 feet long, .23 ounces per inch

A super-khuk that even I could swing.

All gone except the Kobra.

I've got this new keyboard and it is more sensitive than old one. I'm suprised it didn't come out as 11116.5". Use your good sense and bear with me.

That would be a heckuva leaf spring!! :D

Usually, you can set the software to take longer before it repeats a key that you're holding down. In Windows, you'd find this under "my computer" "keyboard", I think.

Would someone please pick up that Kobra!?!?

I have been dreaming about a Kobra like that for a looong time.

My first Khukuri, and a beaut to boot!

I was just thinking to myself after reading through the last 8 months worth of posts in here...

"I would like to try out a 15-18 inch Chiruwa Ang Khola, preferably made by Bura. A couple hours later... VOILA.

I'm giddy, just can't wait to get her and see what she can do! =)

Thanks Uncle Bill!

Verax - welcome! you scored quite a deal there.

Tell us what it's like when you get it and test it out.

Eikvrang, I thought you had a Cobra and bent it?

Mmmyeah.... :)

But I am not going to touch wood with this one. Just the air.
What can I say? Kobras have an effect on me. I always dreamed about handling a very light and very weaponlike Kobra, and this one is very light.

I already ordered a 22" Kobra from Uncle Bill's Easter Specials. It is made by the new kami and I promised to test it for Uncle Bill. I hope I don't bend it. I guess he sent it to the right person for testing it.

But that 22" is going to be given away to a blonde and beautiful girl I know who loves big shiny objects, so I need a new one anyway. :D

pendentive - Will do. I went on a little buying frenzy with my tax return, have a lot of "future reviews" I will need to work on. ;)

donutsrule - You are so right, you called it in that old thread when you said to keep my eyes open in here, stuff comes up all the time. :)

That's two beautiful little AKs by Shanker here in the last couple of days. Uncle if you got some more of those by the kid, can you hang onto one for me? I've got my little Bilton and JKM-1 over here with me, both made by Shanker, and both hold incredible edges. I rotate 'em out as my utility/work knife, and they get used hard. The little Bilton even split up some 2x4s using another piece of wood as a baton. No dulling, and no damage. Bura's still "the boss" in my book, and Sher, Kumar, and the rest do incredible work, but when it comes to the smaller blades that'll be used hard and often, my preference is starting to lean toward young Shanker.

An honest blade, forged by an honest man, to be used for honest work, there's nothing gold could do to improve a knife like that. But I appreciate the sentiment Uncle, and you can be certain I'm not worried about a thing.;)
