It was fantastic. Very well balanced and in my opinion ready to drink now. Dark fruit, oak, tobacco and some nice leather notes. It was a bottle I will remember thanks to the beautiful scenery and frigid cold weather that day. I was keeping the bottle in my jacket pocket to keep it from getting too cold, and pouring some in a solo cup as needed. Great day in the woods.

I'll admit, I'm curious;

Are you a lucky sonofagun who has a waterfall on your property, or did you just happen to lug a bottle of wine along for a stroll somewhere?

I wish it was on my property, but I am lucky that it is located very close by. Around a 1/4 mile hike from the trail head. Well within the distance where carrying a bottle of wine is not a burden, and can make the stop at the destination even more enjoyable.
