CPK Sale

Hello,

I’m new to the forum and was wondering if someone can explain to me how to purchase a knife from Carothers when they have a sale like the one today at 3:00? Is it just the first to say I’ll take one? It seems so weird that this is the only way they sell knives. I’ve been wondering if this is why there are never knives from Carothers available except secondhand for two to three times their worth. I feel like we are all on Ticketmaster trying to buy Taylor Swift tickets, if thats your thing, and everyone just buys them to resell them at a crazy up charge. I thought the forum was a place for like minded people to exchange ideas and gear not turn a profit. Sorry that should probably be it’s own thread.

Never Mind, after reading some other posts I realized the CPK sales are exactly what I thought they. I’ll have to start a thread for people who actually buy knives for use and not resale.

Where can I buy a CPK knife?

The sales take different forms but it is usually a Friday Sale at 1500 EST- a run of 10 knives or so- you can order one knife per post. Get used to seeing all 10 knives disappear in a second if it is a new release.
But do not fret, Nathan usually has multiple sales or a pre-order of a new model till the market is saturated (at least in the short term)...
