Greetings everyone,

Here is one that I just finished up. It’s an everyday carry made of CPM 20CV, with an edged portion that’s just under 4 inches long. The blade is fileworked all along the top, and the pins and thong tube are titanium. The handle is stabilized Olive. It’s from a block I picked up at Woodcraft and had stabilized. I’m no expert on wood but, if I understand the term correctly, it appears to be “curly”. The sheath was my first real attempt at leather carving. It came out okay, but it’s a bit tight, so I may have to make a new one. In any case, I hope you guys like the knife.

*In case anyone is interested, I finished making the new sheath to replace the dragon one. I also added a lanyard to the knife (2016-08-02)

Nice piece, Chris.
I really like the filework matched with the dragon design on the sheath.

That's gorgeous! I'm not always a fan of filework but you did a great job.

Nice work. I'd call that curly for sure.

Good job on that filework.

Looks very nice, on the sheath being a little tight.....give it time it will probably loosen up to where it is perfect

I agree, the knife is very nice, I am a fan of file work and that's a nice and tight job right there. Like it a lot.
