CPM 3V abuse

DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME. THIS IS KNIFE ABUSE!
Sometimes you screw up a knife. I am lucky I don’t very often anymore. Figured this was good time to show what I mean when I say my 3V is “high performance”, it's not just a marketing tag line.
This is a kanmuri Otashi tanto with a fairly fine point, just fyi.
This is knife abuse, I don’t recommend (or warranty) doing this with any knife ever. 4” of solid concrete.

Mostly the knife made me mad and I needed to release some anger on it. : )

Dam Tough Blade there Ben. When I first looked at that beautiful blade in your hand I thought oh don't tear that nice blade up. It looks like that didn't happen, even the tip as thin as it is took it like a champ. I know your post is a couple of years old but I just happened to check out your site and your cool blades, nice testing also. Well have a great weekend and be safe out there.

It all depends on a great heat treat, and this one above looks to do it in spades.
