These went out last week to a client who felt one was not enough so we did three. These are all from super tough CPM 3V at 0.201 thick. Each has a Blade edge just over 12" and all are just over 18" overall. The handles are turqouise canvas Micarta with all stainless fittings including 4 pins, 2 Corbys and a flared tube.

Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

Eric

Hey thanks for the comments.

Roger, I was especially pleased with that shot because of what the the shadows add.

Thanks,
Eric

sweet knives, Eric! I like the wharncliffe style one the most, looks like a ton of fun! Also, the evolution in your handle shaping from what I got a chance to test is subtle but definitely on the right track imo.

Thanks for the comments guys. The middle one in the first picture is the evolution of my Recon Tiger, it is also the one in hand in 3rd pic.

Lorien, the handles I find to be really comfy for chopping now, I know they don't have that Kick you like but they could.

The top one in the first pic is the Recon Golok and definately stems from SE Asian influences. Good call I have a WWII era chopper that has been a long time favorite that I got from my Grandfather which was the inspiration for this...He brought it back after building docks all over the South Pacific for the Army Corp of Engineers.

Best,
Eric
