I am considering buying a new fixed blade knife. This is going to be a bushcraft (whatever that means these days) and camp knife. After a lot of research I have a few knives and steel types in mind, but am hoping that you can help me to both expand my list and select the knife I will purchase.
CPM 3V and Infi are the two steels that I am considering. Survive 5 or 5.1 and Busse SOB are the two knives I am considering. I am also thinking about Bark River's Bravo 1 or Bravo 1 Lt. I am open to any other knives in 3V or something similar.
So, I am guess that I am asking two things:
What other knives should I be considering in 3V or similar steel? What do you like about them?
Of the knives that I listed, wich do you prefer and why?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
