Hi. I own a spydy mil and a native ,both fully serrated and cpm 440v. while I can get the mil shaving sharp the native just never gets close.Any tips would be welcome.I've been using the sharpmaker for this .

440V has always been a bear to get sharp for some folks. Get a DMT Diasharp diamond stone in fine/coarse coarse grits. Finish with a ceramic or 4000/8000 waterstone and a loaded strop. Part of the problem stems from using the wrong kind of sharpening stone that won't cut the 440V aggressively enough. Once you get a decent edge on the diamonds, you'll have a much easier time finishing it on the ceramic or waterstones.
