CPM 4V - is a strop enough?

I have a CPM 4V Manix inbound, and I'm curious as to whether I will be able to maintain the edge with my various strops. Do I need to get some ceramic stones, or, as long as I'm diligent on refreshing the edge before it starts getting anywhere close to dull, will a strop do the trick?

I'd like to avoid, if possible, getting into harder and less flexible sharpening methods since I'm already proficient at using a strop and have a tendency to botch a sharpening job using other methods - especially tips, which seem to be the one part of the knife that I tend to ruin, even with guided systems.

Sounds like you have heard my ravings about how much I like Spyderco's Ultra Fine Ceramic Triangle rod, free hand, on my M4 so I won't bang that tambourine again.

Here is a vid that people here really seem to be into / and the person doing the sharpening.
He is using strops on M4. Toward the end of the vid.

The only thing I’ve used on my 4V fixed blades is a ceramic rod and leather strop. I get them back to stupid sharp.
