well got bit by the hidden tang. just had to try it so here is what i came up with

cpmD2 spine is 1/8 thick
the 600 grit hand rubbed blade is 4 1/8 inch long (cutting edge) over all its 9.5 inch
the guard and pin are nic-silver and the handle is stabilized spalted buckeye burl
thickness at the palm swell is just over 5/8

let me know how you feel about her as i have the sister blade in cpm3V in the works right now too.

That looks like a wonderful blade. That palm swell looks like it would fit the hand well. :)

Could have been straight out of Nick Wheeler's shop. Not bad, not bad...

On utility blades like that, see if you don't get something more comfy by having the back of the blade fluch with the top of the handle. Often, the thumb goes there, and sharp steps like here can become uncomfortable.

That's a good looking piece and appears to be very clean indeed. Nice work.

Very nice. I agree with Joss about the spine being flush with the top of the guard.

That nickel silver looks to be of very high nickel content. I can't see any yellow in it at all. I prefer it like that.
