CPM M4 Military -- colour of G10?

Any word on what this knife's one G10 scale colour is going to be? I would guess plain Jane black, but orange and foliage green are probably options as well. What other colours has Spyderco done with G10? The only other I can think of was the blue Dodo.

I *think* I recall reading that black was the leading choice, but since this knife is relatively far out (in time), I'd guess that the dealer/sponsor and Spyderco probably haven't ironed out final details on that yet. It might be worth contacting Roger with suggestions. I myself agree with you that I would very strongly prefer foliage green or orange (either) to black.
 
I kinda recall black as well...I'm up for any color (well, almost). I'm on the list too, can't wait!

The M4 steel and titanium RIL are pretty exciting in and of themselves not to mention the fact that there are only going to be 500 made. Stll lots to be excited about IMO

Definitely. And at least no one's talking about painting the G10, like another manufacturer did. :barf: :grumpy:
 
i think desert tan or fol. green would work best. orange to me wouldn't work and looks corney. But that's my opinion.



Did anyone hear from roger yet about who is def getting on or not?
 
I am pretty happy about the black g10 its pretty timeless, while I like orange and green and own both they seem a little trendy to me.

:thumbup: I would still buy one if the G10 were pink.... I almost bought the pink Strider PT.:D
 
Did we ever hear if the blade was going to be coated or not? I agree, tan or foliage would have been nice for the G-10, but black will do.

I think what Taz is telling us is that black will have to do. ;) I don't recall hearing about the blade, but every M4 blade Spyderco has ever released has been uncoated. (That's all of two, btw/afaik ;) )
 
Finally, black is back!! Kinda tired of all those yuppie colours :p
