So I know this topic has been discussed. Several years ago it was actually rumored to be happening in this thread here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/842329-Blue-G10-M4-Paramilitary-2-in-the-works.

I thought perhaps we could re drum up some interest, and perhaps make it a possibility again. The Military, Gayle Bradley, Air, and Manix 2 have all had it. I think what is arguably Spyderco's most popular model needs it now as well :D.

I know Spyderco is extremely busy. However Sal likes to feed the steel junkies, so what do you guys think?

I would be all over it, I wouldn't mind blue G-10 or any other cool color for that matter. Since the BBS M390 PM2 is already blue, I would like to see it in another color.

Can t be enthusiastic about a pm2 in cpm m4. Too prone to rust. I greatly admire my gayle bradley, but I can t work with it due to corrosion. The moisture and salt eat it up.

How about a Cru wear pm2 with the same handles as the manix cruwear. A little more corrosion resistant.

I'd be all over a pm2 in

Cpm 3v
Cruwear
N690co

I'd love an M4, so hope they don't do it :) I won't be able to resist and I can't afford it at the moment!

I would have thought this was a no-brainer, but it's been a while now, and Spyderco seems to be using less M4 than in recent years. I'm wondering if it will ever happen - may just skip straight ahead to Cruwear (which is nice, but not the same IME/IMO).

I wish they would re-issue the m390 one...I can't afford the insane prices they go for now, especially here the civilised world :p

I've often thought that M4 is an awesome carbon/tool steel though, as it has a great blend of abilities. I think M4 is what s35vn wishes it could be, and in the para or the millie I definitely know what I would choose out of those two steels. Having said that, my Para in standard s30v is staggering...I had no idea it could be so good. To be honest, if the standard Para is so amazing I can't see the point in paying over the odds for a sprint run.

The M390 is supposed to be coming to Bento again at some point.

I would buy one immediately! For that matter, I might buy 2. Don't care what color. The PM2 is EXACTLY the knife that needs to be produced in M4.

My fingers are crossed!

Speaking about M4 and Gayle Bradley, I seriously want a stainless steel Gayle Bradley, preferably M390, but S30V will do too.
