I thought I share a few pictures, CPM-REX 121 steel, flat ground with a slight convex, handle is lightning carbon fibre, red fibre spacers. 10 ¾” overall with a 6” blade.
Thanks for looking

Hey Farid, I hate to ask in this thread, but are there any updates on the CPM-REX 121 K2 folders?

Hello Tony,
K2 REX , 70% through it right now,

That looks like it wants to be used so badly!

Farid,
What are your experiences regarding Rex 121 edge retention and toughness compared to that of CPM-10V?

That's a cool knife, Farid old boy. It's like a superdooper mad dog. :D:thumbup:

As long as you do not expect it to hold a hair popping edge, other than that it will cut forever if you finish the edge to a high polish, CPM REX 121 is not and was never designed to be a tough steel, 10v is tougher, at the BLADE show the other week after the competition I cut 5 or 6 steel cans in half just as a demo with my REX 121 chopper, it can do it, I am not sure if anyone took pictures or a video, I sure would like to see it myself, sweet corn and green beans just going everywhere..
I guess to answer your question, it is up to the person using the blade, final edge angle and also heat-treating.
