So, I have a Yojimbo 2, PM2 x 2, and a Military in this steel. They have obvious grind lines, which in no way bother me. So today I got a Manix 2 and the blade is flawless.....almost stonewashed. I wish Spyderco did this to all their blades. It just has a quality look to it. But I will say my Yojimbo 2 is pretty awesome with the "I am stoned/hungover" grind to it. It is a keeper.

i haven't finished polishing my ti millie. you know what? s30v is harder to polish than zdp 189. giving my zdp endura a polished blade was far easier.

Yeah the blade on the Manix 2 is fantastic. I'm not sure why they spent the extra time on that knife but I'm glad they did. It has a very smooth finish to it, like they polished it and stonewashed it.

The Manix2 has what looks like a polished light stonewash. It's a really nice finish. I have to say that I really like the satin finish on most Spyderco knives. I like them both.

I think the description for the knife on the major dealer websites call it a stonewash finish. For stonewash I prefer something like the Southard has. Otherwise I prefer satin finishes.
