CPM S30V

Howdy All,
Has anyone stamped out CPM S30V? We have a request to supply blank parts out of this material and the volume is too much for laser/waterjet, etc. Stamping normal steel is not an issue, but this is the 1st time we're looking at this type. TIA, Mark

I'd imagine it would be harder on the dies due to the wear resistance.

But thats just a guess.

Typically steels with that much carbide are not stamped. Normally the limit is strip steels like AEB-L and even that only has 0.68% carbon, much lower than the 1.45% in S30V.
