Finished these two drop point EDC's in CPM S90V heat treated by Peters' to 61.5-62 RC. These are my personal favorite design for EDC. Both feature tapered tangs and full height hollow grinds, resulting in very thin edges, optimized for cutting/slicing. Both have handles of Blue Linen Micarta. Both have 3 inch blades and are 7 inches OAL with rounded spines and thumb serrations. The spines are polished, and the bevels are hand satin to 800 grit. Differences as follows:

#1 has natural linen micarta liners with stainless corby's and lanyard tube. I call this one "jeans" because the combination reminds me of a well-worn and comfortable set of Levi's and a belt.

#2 has orange G10 liners, stainless corbys and a COPPER lanyard tube. This one was not intentionally done to mirror a certain football team colors, but ...

Both ride in Kydex pants and will have an IWB kydex loop.

These are available.

NICE design!! Those do look faded jeans. There have been people a number of years ago that hand made micarta using several layers of strips jean fabric and epoxy. it was a pain in the butt to work with. Your material looks so much nicer!

Thanks Barry. I do not use home made micarta as I find it to usually be of lower overall quality than professionally manufactured stuff. I bought this material from Makers Material supply.
