I guess i am really suprised by the knife makers out there, how come no one uses cpm10v or cpm15v?

Phil Wilson uses or used a lot of them.
Jerry Hossom uses CPM 3V intensively.
There are few other makers that use CPM S125V, CPM 110V, 10V, etc.
Kershaw used CPM 110V in limited run knives. I think Spyderco too.

They are difficult to work with and proper HT is expensive, causing intensive wear and tear on the equipment.

Although, there are a lot more CPM steels than just 10V and 15V - CPM steels used in knives.

From what I've read on these forums, you need special grinding wheels to work the steel, they are not cheap by any means. Because the steel is above your average AUS8 or 440C, the steel eats up regular grinding wheels and other stuff. In addition to requiring advanced HT working as already mentioned.
There might be more of this steel used in the near future, Crucible is cranking out steel this quarter and I'm sure knifemakers will take advantage of these offerings. Personally, I'd love to see more of this steel offered in higher end production knives. It would be super cool. :)

lots of people use CPM M4, 3v,154 s30v, s60v, s90v, and ive seen cpm s110v, 125v
and im sure i've forgotten some. Besides that Custom makers will make you a knife out of anything
