Phil Wilson's 10V knives have become a benchmark for edge retention testing. Heat treat is critical, and Phil has had extensive experience and success with the CPM steels, as noted in Cliff Stamp's review of one of his 10V blades:

It's me. I've been revamping my production runs to switch my heat treat provider. I'm going to Paul Bos.
So, I have 21 blades in the works right now going out in about 2 weeks to heat treat.
If there's something specific you need let me know and I'll make sure it gets in with this batch.
I'm doing a run of A2 then CPM3V so it will be a while before I get back to 10V.

Yes Wayne, everything after March 2001 will be heat treated through Paul. His technique is really ahead of anything else I've seen. Great guy to!
