CPM154 Apache Hunter - WIPS

Nice!

Do you have any pics on laying up the mult-piece handle? I've got some ideas on how to do this, but, I'd love to see other peoples techniques.

I will definately do that. It is out getting "pants" this week. First impression is that the knife is stunning. I have been wanting a white bolstered knife for some time. I needed a full sized fixed blade in CPM154 to accompany my hunting gear. I live practically on the gulf coast, so the carbon steels don't fair well without special attention.
The fit and finish is superb and the tapered tang adds a degree of nimbleness to this full sized blade. The blade is extremely well balanced and has great ergos. Feels womderful in the hand. The grind is either flat or shallow hollow which is fine by me as it has enough blade depth to be thin for slicing yet a bit of meat behind the blade edge for strength.
I will get some pics together in the next week as I will be using the knife while hunting and scouting. Someone commented on another site this would be a "grail" knkfe and for me it is my "grail" of a full sized fixed blade.
If not full size, I would opt for Chris's Wharthog EDC. My wife has one and it is magnificent! I'm sure I will acquire on for myself in the future.
The full sized Apache Hunter by Osprey Knife and Tool fots the bill for my hunting and outdoor needs.
