Cpm154 & Rwl-34

Is there any difference between CPM154 & RWL-34 beside where their made? I notice more knifemakers are using CPM154 over here (USA). In Europe RWL-34 is used. I know they are both powdered metal CPM154 is the powdered version of CM154 and I'm not sure if RWL-34 is the powdered version of ATS-34.

... and ATS-34 is Japanese version of 154CM.
